Hajduković files lawsuit over July 13th award on Monday

AUTHOR:M.J. GDNUS

Scientist Dragan Hajduković, one of the candidates for the winner of this year's July 13th Award, will file a lawsuit with the Administrative Court on Monday for, as he stated, violating the Law on State Awards by awarding this highest state recognition.

He told Television E that he received an official decision on the awarding of the awards from the Ministry of Culture and Media, and that all legal conditions for filing a lawsuit have been met.

- Today, finally, 15 days after the decision was made, the official decision appeared on the Ministry's website - a stamped decision and, instead of the decision, I received a link to the place on the website where it is located. The Ministry sent it to me, so the last element has finally been met, so that we will go to the Administrative Court on Monday - announced Hajduković.

Monday, July 21, will be the last day when filing a lawsuit will be possible, given that the deadline is 20 days from the announcement of the decision on the winners of the July 13th Award - July 2.

Let us recall that the main reason why Hajduković announced the lawsuit is that this highest state recognition, by law, must be awarded for three different areas, which was not done in this case.

- The inevitable violation of the law is so obvious that if someone does not see the violation of the law, they are so filled with hatred and a sense of omnipotence that they do not want to see it. It is so clear and so obvious that there is no doubt that this must be a clear, loud and powerful victory for legality - adds Hajduković.

He expects that if the court determines that the law was violated in the case of the July 13th Award, the winners will be required to return both the award and the money that goes with it.

Illegalities regarding the awarding of the Thirteenth of July Award were also pointed out by Đurđe Crnojević at the National Library, and it concerns the publication of the awardee Bećir Vuković.

- It has been confirmed that the CIP record on that publication, which the jury had in their hands during the awarding, was forged. That is why we have contacted the Ministry of Culture and we hope that steps will be taken to punish those who committed such abuse - Dragica Lompar, director of the National Library, previously told Television E.
