Six professors from the "Aleksandar Džuvani" University in Elbasan, Albania, were deprived of their freedom due to corruption, and one is on the run.
As reported by the Albanian media, the professors are suspected of allowing students to take exams in exchange for money.
However, in addition to money, as is suspected, the students also 'paid' their passage in other ways - potatoes were also brought to one professor.
According to the Albanian media, this is stated in the prosecutor's file, which includes part of the monitored conversation between the professor and the student.
"In that correspondence, the student tells the professor that he brought a sack of potatoes and asks where he can leave it," reports Albanian media.
By the way, the arrested professors taught a wide variety of subjects - from art, through work with families, motor education, all the way to the philosophy of education.
