Goran Vesić also formally resigned the function of the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, after the publication of the canopy at the entrance to the entrance station Novi Sad when 14 people were killed, and three were seriously injured.
In his account on his social network X, Vesic stated that he resigned "the person who wants to show a personal example that there is a moral responsibility in today's human responsibility" that happened in the department at the helm.
"I am leaving this function clean conscience and proud of the results that remain behind me as well as the team of the Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure that worked with me. I worked with great respect and responsibility for citizens and citizens as well as in the best faith exclusively in the interest of Serbia, "Vesic said.
