Fifteen-minute blockades were held across Serbia at 11:52 this Thursday as well, paying tribute to those killed in the canopy collapse in Novi Sad.
A girl in Belgrade was injured when a car drove into a crowd before the blockades began. Protests were held in Kraljevo, Novi Sad and Zrenjanin, and protests are also underway in Kragujevac and Niš.
In protest over the student's injury, a large number of students from all faculties gathered in front of the Law building, from where, as they had already announced, they headed to the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office at 3 p.m. There they continued their protest.
In the meantime, students in Novi Sad also organized themselves, blocking the intersection near the Futoška pijaca for several hours.
The students had previously announced the next major rally – on January 17th in 6:30 PM in front of Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) to, as they say, once again draw attention to the "inadequate reporting of this public media service".
