Ivanovic in New York: Diaspora was and remains an inseparable part of Montenegro

The diaspora was and remains an inseparable part of Montenegro. All of you who live here in the USA, as well as the entire diaspora, are an important factor in social processes in our common country - said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Filip Ivanovic in New York during a conversation with representatives of the Montenegrin diaspora in the United States of America.
He said that in the coming period we will try to further affirm the exceptional human, intellectual and economic potential.
Ivanović's cabinet announced that he expressed his satisfaction at the opportunity to speak openly and honestly with representatives of our emigrants, compatriots, fellow citizens and friends from all over Montenegro, and with a common goal: that cooperation with the diaspora be as good, meaningful and high-quality as possible.
I know that you have achieved success here in many spheres, and what we are especially grateful for is that you have not forgotten Montenegro. Here, tonight, I especially want to emphasize that Montenegro has not forgotten, nor will it forget you - said Ivanovic.
Once again, he personally, as the line minister, along with his colleagues in diplomatic and consular missions in the USA, as well as the Ministry and the Government, is always available to talk openly with the diaspora about numerous success stories and projects, but also possible problems.
Our goal is to make Montenegro better and encourage its further development. Your contribution to those processes is immeasurable, and I especially thank you for your many years of sincere commitment and contribution - Ivanović concluded.
