US President Joe Biden said he has "always condemned political violence" a day after a second alleged assassination attempt on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
"I have always condemned political violence and I will always condemn it," Biden said.
Trump said after yesterday's incident, which is suspected to be another attempt to assassinate him, that it was caused by the rhetoric of Biden and US Vice President Kamala Harris.
"In America, we resolve our disputes peacefully in elections, not at gunpoint," said the Democratic US president.
Trump said that the words of Biden and Harris caused him to be fired upon.
