US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced plans today to reorganize the State Department to reduce bureaucracy and improve efficiency.
He said the reorganization will "bring the US department into the 21st century," the State Department said.
This approach will strengthen the department from the ground up, from bureaus to embassies, the statement said.
