North Korea fired several short-range ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan this morning, the South Korean military said.
The South Korean military spotted several projectiles believed to be short-range ballistic missiles, the statement said.
The launch was conducted from the Wonsan region in North Korea at around 8:10 a.m. local time.
North Korea last fired ballistic missiles on March 10, when South Korea and the United States were conducting military exercises in the region.
