The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has discovered a spy network run by the Hungarian state with the aim of extorting information from Ukrainian officials.
In the roll call of the SBU, two persons are suspected of being its agents, who are, as they say, engaged in the Hungarian war.
In fact, this is the first time in history that a Hungarian spy network has been revealed that works against the interests of Ukraine.
The Hungarian authorities did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Hungary is a member of the European Union and NATO - two organizations with which Ukraine has traditionally maintained close ties, especially in the context of the war it is waging against Russia.
