A Serbian citizen has been banned from entering Montenegro for one year and fined €300 following a violation of the country’s regulations, authorities have confirmed.
The decision was made after officials determined that the individual breached rules governing the entry or stay of foreign nationals. Specific details of the violation were not disclosed, but officials said the measure was imposed in accordance with existing law.
The entry ban will remain in effect for 12 months, after which the individual may apply again to enter Montenegro under standard procedures. The €300 fine must be paid within the legally prescribed period.
Authorities stressed that such measures are applied equally to all foreign citizens who fail to comply with national regulations, and are intended to maintain public order and security.
The case has drawn attention amid increased enforcement and border checks, particularly during periods of heightened travel and tourism.
