Đukanović: Anti-fascism has never been more relevant since the Second World War until today

The President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, received the President of the Association of NOR Fighters and Antifascists of Montenegro, Zuvdija Hodžić, and the General Secretary, Dragan Mitovo Đurović, in anticipation of the organization's upcoming congress, which will be held at the beginning of next month.
Đukanović said that it is important for the state to recognize the importance of organizations that advocate for preserving the values of anti-fascism, on the foundations of which today's Montenegro was built.
Hodžić and Đurović informed him about the previous work, upcoming activities, as well as the challenges the organization is facing. They thanked him for the understanding and support he continuously shows towards the fighters, anti-fascism and the idea inherited by the organization.
As they said, the results of Montenegro since the referendum on this point testify to this.
They informed the President that SUBNOR and anti-fascists will participate in the Congress of the World Federation of Veterans in Belgrade and convey messages about neo-fascism in these areas. They also invited him to participate in the seventh congress of SUBNOR on March 3 in Podgorica, where he will confirm his perseverance on the anti-fascist path with a view to the future by involving young people in the protection and promotion of anti-fascism as an all-time value - which Đukanović gladly accepted.
With gratitude for the initiative for the meeting, the President welcomed the definition of the Alliance's new strategy, emphasizing that anti-fascism has never been more relevant since the Second World War until today.
