Cetinje has been hit by another unprecedented tragedy today that has left us all in shock and disbelief. We have lost our dear fellow citizens, including innocent children, which makes this loss even more painful and difficult to understand, said the Mayor of the Royal Capital of Cetinje, Nikola Đurašković, regarding the tragedy that occurred today in Cetinje.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost their loved ones. It is difficult to find words that could describe the depth of this tragedy, but I promise that as the city administration, we will do everything we can to provide them with support and compassion in these difficult moments.

I ask all citizens of the Royal Capital to stand with the families of the victims and the families of the injured in these difficult days, to sympathize with their pain and to provide support to each other," he said.

Once again, he expresses his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and wishes a speedy and successful recovery to those injured in this senseless act.

"I take this opportunity to inform the public that the Royal Capital of Cetinje is suspending the event "New Year's Story in the Royal Capital" and canceling all planned events in the coming period, including the awarding of the Ivan Crnojević Charter."
