Živković: Everything that happens should be answered both in the Assembly and outside it, no matter how many of us there are

While I am the leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists, I will never allow this party to join any rotten coalition that will mean the death of Montenegro, DPS head Danijel Živković said from the election conference in Cetinje.
Živković spoke about the work of DPS Cetinje and expressed his belief that already in the next elections DPS will be part of the government. "We are working on fundamental and comprehensive reforms, and that is why we are convinced that good results cannot be absent.
- Today, unfortunately, in Montenegro, civil and European forces are in the minority, and the majority is made up of nationalists and populists. And when GP URA was formed, we warned that it was a party founded only to transfer part of the sovereignist votes to the nationalism party. We became convinced of this after August 30, when the leader of that party entered into a coalition with the nationalists. Today, PES is also firmly in the grip of wrong politics. He will end the same way Dritan Abazović ended. And every subsequent policy that enters into a coalition with nationalists just to be in power at any cost will continue with quarrels and misunderstandings. Look at the structure of people who represent the ruling politics today. 5-6 years ago, Minister Ivanovic had one statement about the NATO alliance, and then he evolved into the biggest supporter of the NATO alliance. Remember Andrija Mandić's statement that weapons should be unearthed with a plan to destabilize the situation in Montenegro - Živković reminded.
He said that it was not so easy to negotiate with Montenegro while the DPS was in power.
- And what happened after that? Remember the fight for Nikšić, which was led from Belgrade, through Pink and Happy, led by money from black funds. Do you think you can fight it equally? And yet the backbone of civil Montenegro did not break, we continued on. Milojko Spajić is preparing to do perhaps worse things than Dritan Abazović. Abazović sold, by signing the Basic Agreement, the spiritual and sacral heritage of Montenegro, and Spajić would finally settle accounts with Montenegro, to sign an agreement and enable dual citizenship - said Živković.
He pointed out that everything that happens in our society should be answered both in the Assembly and outside it, "however many of us there are".
- Parcelization of the opposition political scene is something that was thought up in Belgrade. To blunt or weaken strong civil resistance to ultimately achieve what they set out to do. Hence the constant insistence that the only important thing is our standard of living, all other topics from security, health, education are not important. With that story, they anesthetize part of the public until they finish their job. We will never allow that - said Živković.
According to him, "they are killing us with their disagreements, deceptions and blackmail", and when they get to power they don't know what to do with it.
- Example of Podgorica, in a year there is no agreement or discussion. Same thing in Berane. Same problem in Tivat. In Budva, they cannot agree on the government. Their measure of democracy is such that we can expect that future sessions of local parliaments will be held with the presence of armed persons who will suggest to the defenders what they should vote for - said the DPS leader.
He says they must take off their suits and go to every town, talk to people.
- We have decided on essential reform and dealing with mistakes. The innovative DPS program will contribute to that fight, we will offer something new and different. Institutional upgrading, fundamental reform of the security system, reform of education, health system, economic program. All this will be based on sound and realistic foundations. We have learned our lesson, we must fix all the weak points of the system - concluded Živković.
