After Spajić's tweet, Đeljošaj spoke out

AUTHOR:M.J. GDNUS

After Prime Minister Milojko Spajić's tweet in which he warned that the World Bank-IFC's address was a serious warning that questioning the regularity of the Tender procedure for the concession of the Airport of Montenegro could harm Montenegro's reputation, its European path and the closure of Chapter 5, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development Nik Đeljošaj spoke out. On Facebook, Đeljošaj posted a message that all members of the tender commission are working professionally and legally.

We are reprinting Đeljošaj's post in its entirety.

"Each member of the Tender Commission worked professionally and legally, respected every procedure and acted in accordance with legal possibilities.

Each member of the Tender Commission, based on the rights granted to them by law, fulfilled their legal obligation and performed the scoring.

Each member of the Commission scored, and as the rules of procedure require, I only presented to all members of the Commission how they were scored.

If IFC believes that the members of the Tender Commission should only be figures and extras to confirm whatever IFC, or rather Inčona's partner Bodin Bulatović, forwards, I think they have misjudged us.

As far as I am concerned, and at least 9 other members of the Commission who have shown professionalism and have not accepted that Bodin and IFC manage them, we call on the Cabinet of the Prime Minister to replace the Commission as soon as possible with people who think that they should accept everything that comes from the IFC and we will not be a hindrance.

It is a legitimate right for someone to trust the IFC more, but we want to inform the public that the vast majority of the Tender Commission does not trust most of the IFC's procedures.

We have neither favorites nor obligations, the only we have an obligation to our country and without further ado we will willingly accept you to replace us.

But let no one expect that what we have seen in action, which are the actions of consultants and Bodin, which are not in the interest of the state of Montenegro, but of individuals, that we should immunize and turn off the brain.

I will never accept to humiliate my Government and the state of Montenegro, to submit a report to the consultants that we pay, but the opposite is necessary, that they submit accounts for their actions and actions, and for everything they did and how they did it, we have it in the minutes and e-mail communication.

How well-intentioned and professional they are is shown by their official position from the beginning of April that no company will apply for a concession, and 2 out of 3 have applied, so I'm not going any further for now."
