The Association of Lawyers of Montenegro expresses solidarity with the teaching staff and students of the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature and is ready to provide them with free legal assistance in order to protect their professional and academic rights.
"On this occasion, we point out to the entire Montenegrin public that a country where churches and dogma 'flourish' and schools and university programs are closed cannot prosper. This is especially not possible in a country where there is an increasing number of 'public office holders' without degrees or with 'fake' or purchased degrees, acquired after 'decades' of studying," the Association of Lawyers said in a statement.
The decision makers who denied the enrollment of 40 students to FCJK are addressed by the words of Dositej Obradović: "Books, brothers, not flags" .
