Brajović on Timonije's statement: Think carefully before putting something in the context of fascism

Advisor to President Milo Đukanović for foreign affairs, Tamara Brajović, commented on the controversial statement of French Ambassador Cristijan Timonije.
As she pointed out, in the sea of misinformation, spin and bad intentions, we have to think carefully before qualifying something or putting it in the context of fascist aggression.
The heated atmosphere needs to be calmed down, not fueled by an overly gloomy reality. I believe that together, with more patience and common sense, we can find a safe way for civil Montenegro - she said.
She said that the overall social, political and economic situation in Montenegro is far from normal. Every citizen, especially an official, should be very careful in his statements, as well as in his private dealings.
Equally, I am very convinced that every diplomat should be even more careful in the atmosphere that Montenegro has been living in in recent years. Especially if it represents a country with European values - emphasized Brajović.
In a news statement this morning, Timonije assessed, commenting on the events in Cetinje ahead of Jakob Milatović's promotional rally on Friday, that "this type of fascist aggression is against not only European, but also basic human values".
Then, in response to the open letter of the mayor of Cetinje, he pointed out that he was not referring to the citizens of Cetinje.
