"Criminal charges against state bodies if there is no vote in Šavnik again"

The elections in Šavnik are a test for institutions, and if there is no vote this time either, we will file criminal charges against the competent state bodies, said Miloš Nikolić, spokesman and deputy of DPS in the Parliament of Montenegro.
"The state of Montenegro has gone from a country that in 2020, thanks to the Democratic Party of Socialists, demonstrated the full functionality of democracy with a flawless election day and a dignified handover of power to today's state in which the entire state apparatus has not been able to organize and hold elections for 4 weeks. two polling stations in Šavnik. This outcome is a natural consequence of the destruction of institutions, powerlessness and anarchy carried out by the August majority in the previous two years, which culminated in a constitutional coup through the adoption of the Law on the President," said Nikolić's announcement.
He points out that they expect state bodies to show resistance in relation to political pressures and show integrity in the performance of their legal responsibilities.
"The Democratic Party of Socialists filed several criminal charges against those who committed criminal acts in the field of election abuses, however, we must state that they were not prosecuted by the competent state authorities, which only encouraged election criminals in their plans. Because of this, We inform the public that - in the event that the experiences of the previous weeks are repeated, this time we will file criminal charges against those who are obliged to ensure the smooth running of the election process - first of all against the competent prosecutor for failure to act in specific cases," Nikolić points out.
They are appealing to the competent state bodies to professionally carry out the work within their legal jurisdiction so that, as they state, the election process in Šavnik will be brought to an end and thus at the same time stop the embarrassment of the state.
