An interview with Đorđe Stojović from Montenegro, as a young entrepreneur, was published on the official website of the European Commission dedicated to the EU Single Market.
This would be commendable for the European Commission, if next to Stojović and the name of the country he comes from (Montenegro), there wasn't a tricolor!
Displaying an incorrect flag on an official European platform represents a serious oversight, even a diplomatic scandal, since visual symbols represent the identity and sovereignty of a state.
Although the interview was published in 2023, this does not lessen the significance of the mistake that occurred, especially since even after two years, the "mistake" has not been corrected.
Stojović is presented as a young entrepreneur developing domestic luxury food and beverage brands, and in the interview, he talks about the challenges he faces and the importance of perseverance in entrepreneurship.
To clarify, the "Single Market" page provides information on strategies, policies, initiatives, and analyses related to the free movement of goods, services, capital, and people within the EU.
It is part of the official website of the European Commission and publishes current news, studies, and interviews within initiatives like “33 under 33,” with the aim of strengthening competitiveness, removing bureaucratic barriers, and promoting young entrepreneurs.
So, it is not a commercial or private blog, but an official communication platform of the European Commission that promotes economic affairs and policies within the European economic area.
And, apparently, some other policies as well.
