Djeloshaj: The reporting on Perović was a circus, the Albanians might help her return the money if she damaged the budget

AUTHOR: M.J.
Minister of Economic Development Nik Djeloshaj said that Albanians in Montenegro have great respect for the arrested director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK), Jelena Perović.
He added that he believes that the people in Montenegro may be ready to help her return the money if she damaged the state budget.
The coverage of Perović was a circus. I said that because Albanians in Montenegro have great respect for Jelena Perović. It is the only institution that she managed, where she was a judge, where she found the strength to issue a conviction for chanting and insulting Albanians, which we also see in recent events at matches - where they are called shippers. Albanians are very grateful to her for that action, for these other things, if someone did something, of course they will be held accountable and in that context I may have connected, which may also be related to this case. I think that maybe the Albanians would be ready for all these things, if she damaged something, to help her return these funds from what they are, the feelings towards that act from 2016 - said Djeloshaj at the press conference after the Government session.
He emphasized that he was speaking as a leader of a political party and not as a representative of the Government.
Perović was arrested yesterday on the order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) and was detained for up to 72 hours for abuse of official position. The SDT yesterday did not say specifically by which actions Perović abused her official position, and as Martinović said in a statement to Pobjeda yesterday, it seems that Perović was prosecuted because she used the official car more than the SDT believes she should have.
They didn't say she abused her position for this or that. During the search, they confiscated the warrants, took pictures of the mileage on the vehicle, and confiscated documents that had already been handed over to the prosecutor's office, and related to kilometers traveled or trips - Martinović told us at the time.
Today it turned out that Perović did not drive more than 50 km a day in her official car. Today it was announced that they are charged with making a decision on wages and variables.
