South Korean citizen and "cryptocurrency king" Do Kwon will be placed in a shelter for foreigners - his lawyer Goran Rodić told Pobjeda.
He underlined that this measure was determined outside of the court's decision, and that he will therefore file a complaint with the Administrative Court within five days.
Do Kwon was interrogated by the police today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. That was an illegal act by the police towards Do Kwon, who, according to the court decision, should have waited for extradition proceedings and defended himself from freedom after serving his prison sentence - Rodić told us.
In a statement for Pobjeda, he clarified that the decision of the High Court stipulated that Do Kwon's documents be confiscated - so that he could not leave the territory of Montenegro. The decision to place him in a shelter for foreigners, as Rodić added, still limits his freedom of movement - in a way that the court did not foresee.
Do Kwon left the prison in Spuž this morning, after his four-month prison sentence for forging identity documents expired. After that, he was taken to the inspector for foreigners.
