DPS with representatives of the Council of National Communities: It is necessary to postpone the list

In order to see the overall social situation and the circumstances before the announced census, representatives of the Democratic Party of Montenegro, the Social Democrats and the Liberal Party of Montenegro held a number of meetings with representatives of the Minority National Communities, said from the DPS

From the DPS, the interlocutors presented all the activities so far that have taken to meet the process itself as the conclusions of the meetings they performed with representatives of the Ministry of Finance and MONSTAT.

There are shared numerous insults in the current process of preparing the censuses, adversity of the overall social context and the non-functionality of institutions, and that in addition to formally legal assumptions, they are not significantly met by technical preconditions - they say in the DPS.

The interlocutors agree that they state the DPS, due to the fact that institutions do not function in full capacity, that the government has not worked since July because the new President of the Assembly has not been elected. Certain whether and when the new government will be formed, that there are no conditions that this statistical procedure is implemented in the planned term. Also, it is pointed out that it is necessary for the Montenegrin public to fully acquire confidence in the results that will arise from that procedure.

Therefore, a joint compliance is achieved to be appealed in the Government and the competent institutions that the list must be delayed in order to create adequate conditions, institutions, full information of citizens and the involvement of the public and subjects, which will make this process transparent and inclusive - stand out in the DPS.

The meeting was attended in front of the DPS. d. President Danijel Živković, Vice President Abaz Dizdarević and Secretary General Aleksandar Bogdanović, in front of SD Damir Šehović and Miloš Čelanović, in the name of LP Amar Borjčić and Esad Šainović. On behalf of the Bosniak National Council, Suljo Mustafić, Mirsad Rastoder, Albanian National Council, Nika and Nikola Camaj, the Croatian National Council of Zvonimir Dekovic and Dijana Milosevic, as well as the Council of the Muslim people in Montenegro Sabrija Vulić and Kadrija Kurpejović.
