The staff of the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature strongly condemns police brutality against demonstrators in front of Vila Gorica.
"In full view of the entire public, the police and military phalanxes of the anti-European regime in Montenegro used excessive force against citizens who were protesting the July 13th Prize affair. We ask all international human rights organizations to address the beatings and poisoning of citizens.
We also use this opportunity to inform the public that our dean, Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Radoman, was unprecedentedly pepper-sprayed by the police, which is why he ended up in the Emergency Block.
We currently have no further information about his condition. In addition to Radoman, the police also injured our assistant, M.Sc. Stefan Todorović. We wonder, what kind of police are these that use force against the academic community!? We tell the police to stop with brutality and not disgrace the Montenegrin coat of arms that they wear on their uniforms," the FJCK said.
