At today's session of the Council of the Faculty of Fine Arts (FLU), the present members expressed full support for the members of the informal group "Kamo śutra" in their protests regarding the tragic events in Cetinje.

"We consider it our academic and moral duty to stand with the students who are peacefully protesting and demanding the responsibility of the security sector leaders as well as the return of civic education as a mandatory subject in primary and secondary schools," the FLU announced.

They also added that they stand in solidarity with the local community and join the justified demands for the establishment of all circumstances related to the two mass murders that shook Cetinje in the last two and a half years.

"We are concerned about the lack of political will to shed light on these tragic events, especially due to the fact that no entity, from any political option, is setting this issue as a priority. That's why we see the student protests as the voice of young people who take responsibility for the future of Montenegro as a civil society with transparent institutions and political moral responsibility," said FLU.
