Grlić Radman: We still support Montenegro, but there are issues that are not of a bilateral nature

AUTHOR: M.J. GDNUS
Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman said that the country still strongly supports Montenegro on its European path, but that there are issues that are not of a bilateral nature.

Speaking about the fact that Montenegro will not close chapter 31 today, the Croatian foreign minister said that there is no question of a blockade.

"Montenegro is Croatia's neighboring country. We have strongly supported Montenegro from the beginning, we continue to support Montenegro, but there are also certain issues that are not of a bilateral nature.

These are humanitarian issues, civilizational issues, these are universal issues," Grčlić Radman told reporters in Brussels.

Croatia, as he says, will not put bilateral issues as a condition for Montenegro's European path.

"But the issues of missing persons during the Homeland War, the issue of compensation for camp inmates, these are the topics that must concern us all within the European Union, not only Croatia," Grlić Radman said.
