Grlić-Radman: Montenegro has not made anything on the EU for two years, we expect Milatović to be placed for negotiations

The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman said that the newly elected President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović is even more strongly pledged to continue the European path of that state.

We expect the new president to advance to the continuation of negotiations with the European Union, because he has not been done for two years - said Croatian Minister to Journalists in Zagreb, reminding that he was entering the EU Milatovic's election promise.

Grlić Radman said that Croatia has always supported Montenegro's independence and its European path, adding that the continuation of the European path is expected to have the entire international community.

Montenegro has opted for the European path and is in the interest of Montenegro to keep that path - the Croatian Minister emphasized.

He added that Montenegrin elections have passed peacefully and will see if Milatović will meet the election promises.
