Without facing the recent past, Montenegro cannot become an equal member of the European Union, as well as a credible NATO ally. This was said to win Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman, commenting on the attitudes of the Minister of Defense Dragan Krapovića.

Yesterday, KraPovic, at the session of the Security Committee, said what happened in the Morinj camp, is not a consequence of the Greater Serbia or GrandCrnogor aggression, but the war in the former Yugoslavia.

For me, it was something that was a consequence of work in the former Yugoslavia, not Greater Serbia, Grand-Gora aggression than a war in the former Yugoslavia. I think that the whole thing is unfortunate to the fact that in addition to Ministers from Montenegro, attended officials from the Croatian side: Minister Grlić Radman and in my information Tomo Medved - said Krapović.

Radman, commenting on Krapovića, says relations between Montenegro and Croatia, should be developed as two neighboring and friendly countries, but also emphasizes what they expect from Montenegro.

Without facing a recent past, Montenegro cannot become an equal member of the European Union, as well as a credible NATO federal. A few days ago in Zagreb I talked to Minister Ivanovic and we agreed that we needed our relations and want to develop as two neighboring and friendly countries. This means that from Montenegro, we expect a willingness to continue to face a recent past, with what happened during the Greater Serbia aggression in the Dubrovnik area last century, and in the Morinj camp, said Grlić Radman.

He also says that the permanent marking of the suffering of Croatian citizens in Morinje is important for the further continuation of the culture of memories that will rest on the truth about what happened and, as he pointed out, is clearly condemned war crimes and respect for victims.

I want to believe that this new government of Montenegro will continue to work on achieving true reconciliation and strengthening good neighborly relations. We are grateful to the Ministers of Montenegro then that in 2022, they finally set up a memorial plate, but every future attempt to remove, we will consider the innocent victims of Croatian citizens and the dignity of the Republic of Croatia - concluded the Radman.

We remind you, the Memorial Ploča in the Morinj camp discovered October 10 Ranko Krivokapić and Minister of Defense Raško Konjević in the presence of the Croatian Head of Diplomacy Gordana Cervous.

Shortly afterward, the Municipality of Kotor ordered the Municipality of the Memorial Ploča on the facility of the Former Hugoslav People's Army (JNA) in Morinj, under the explanation that the legal requirements for setting up the Memorial Ploce.

Since then, the army of Montenegro keeps the slab, so as not to be removed or desecrated.

The Morinj camp was the former JNA barracks, which was converted to the captain's collection center mostly Croats of Dubrovnikovatok 1991 and 1992. Where they were out and abused.

In 2013, the High Court in Podgorica determined the responsibility of four war crimes persons against prisoners in Morinje, and in 2014, the Court of Court has confirmed and made the Court of Appeals.

The verdict found that in the Morinj Collection Center were exposed to physical abuse, stating that the atmosphere of terror and fear for a naked life was reported to whom the injured party was constantly exposed.

Montenegrin reservists, as part of the JNA, participated in wars in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, in attacks on Slobodan Milosevic's leadership.

It is estimated that in the attack on Dubrovnik about 7,000 reservists were from Montenegro.
