Citizens of Cetinje are still blocking traffic in the town of Kruševo Ždrijelo for two hours today, and after last night's police warning that they could be sanctioned for this, as well as the announcement by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and PES official Vlado Bojović, they addressed a letter to the Prime Minister of Montenegro:
"Mr. Spajić, regarding your announcement on social networks, namely quoting the text of a certain executive director of your party Bojović, we regret that you and Mr. Bojović are dealing with incorrect information, collected from some malicious social network pages," states the reaction of the group of citizens of the Royal Capital of Cetinje.
"Mr. Spajić, we consider your statement to be frivolous for several reasons:
First, at no point in the past three months of our protest have you found it appropriate to contact us or visit us, in order to today refer to the statements of your executive director, instead of the plain truth. Among other things, we are referring to the duration of the protest, instead of two hours, until 7:26 p.m., you state that it lasts until 9 p.m.
Second, you are dealing with information that was taken from some malicious social media pages, which is frivolous for a prime minister, and the photographs taken from a police car tell us about some other, deeper things or intentions.
Third, we are not the cause of the daily traffic stoppage, but the people who are responsible for two mass murders in Cetinje, in which 23 people died and ten were injured, and to this day some of those responsible are still holding onto their seats and your vice presidents are responsible for the safety of the citizens of Montenegro.
They are also walking peacefully on which should be your focus", state the citizens of the Royal Capital.
Fourthly, our goal is not to obstruct the tourist season in Montenegro as some anonymous politicians state, but rather the truth, justice and responsibility of those responsible for the blood of innocent victims and in order to prevent any future similar event in any part of Montenegro.
Also, Mr. Spajić, the blockade at Kruševo Ždrijelo is not obstructing the start of the tourist season, but the unorganized traffic infrastructure, so if you are not up to date with the events, get information at
AMD Montenegro or pay attention to the media which, among other things, are buzzing about the unfinished boulevard between the metropolis of tourism and Tivat airport.
The fact is that the investigation after the mass murder in Medovina on 12.08. 2022 significantly contributed to the crime on January 1, 2025.
Fifthly, Mr. Spajić, we use this opportunity to inform you that the political spin of mentioning close relatives of some politicians, as well as interestingly security personnel, will not pass. Regardless of the regressive intentions, the word of the families of the victims, their loved ones, their godparents and friends, as well as all well-intentioned citizens of Cetinje and Montenegro will be heard.
Sixthly, and finally, we will use this opportunity to tell you that you are expected to advocate that the protest in Cetinje is not politicized, as it started, that any political or party connotation is excluded, as well as any other comparison with other road blockades in Montenegro. Surely nothing can be compared to the blood of Montenegrin citizens?
Mr. Spajić, we will continue with the blockades and go to the extreme limits of human endurance, we tell you on this occasion, until those responsible are sanctioned. The people protesting at Kruševo džrijelo are not young people from the university and informal groups of citizens Kamo śutra, nor their political henchmen, but honest, well-intentioned and injured citizens of Montenegro", says the group of citizens who gather at Kruševo džrijelo in a letter to the Prime Minister, adding that "they will not lack strength".
