The meeting of the councilors of the Europe Now Movement and the Movement for Podgorica, which was organized with the aim of overcoming the political crisis of the authorities in the capital, was interrupted because no agreement was reached, RTCG Portal reports.

Member of the Movement for Podgorica Nađa Ljiljanić said that the meeting was interrupted because of the insults they suffered.

- Dear citizens, you can know that the initiative for an agreement by PES is just a farce. It's just a marketing ploy to make it seem like we're the people fighting for the seats. We have to tell the citizens that we did not agree to any position, that we do not want positions and that the agreement with PES could not be concluded because we do not speak the same language - she said.

She pointed out that they suffered great insults and said that she was shaken by the scene she witnessed.

- The fairest thing is to shorten the mandate of the Assembly, that is, to return the mandate to us as councilors. We think that's the fairest. We believe that the management could have done better. We cannot reach an agreement, to talk normally - she emphasized.

This is the second such meeting that has been organized in the Assembly of the Capital City in recent days.

PES officials Boris Pejović, Tihomir Dragaš and Vasilije Čarapić attended the earlier meeting on Wednesday in the Capital Assembly building, while Nađa Ljiljanić, Balša Špadijer and Miloš Krstović arrived on behalf of the Movement for Podgorica.

Former party colleagues will try to find a way to solve the crisis that arose after five PES councilors left the party and formed a committee club.

The results of the agreement should be presented by the current and former PES councilors to the ruling majority at a meeting scheduled for next Monday.
