Montenegrin Metropolitan Boris today served the first Holy Service with the clergy since he was elected head of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, the religious organization announced.
He served in the church of St. George in Gavrilovac, on the shore of Lake Skadar.
This temple of God, dedicated to this Martyr of God, is the first newly built church after the reconstruction of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, whose founder is Budimir Lopičić and his family - announced the CPC.
During the service, as they add, "Metropolitan Boris promoted to the rank of Archpriest Priest Stefan Marković, elder of the church of Saint Ivan Crnojević and Parish Priest of Cetinje and Ilija Vujović, Parish Priest of Nikšić".
