Metropolitan Boris celebrated the Easter liturgy in Cetinje in the church of St. Ivan Crnojević with the presence of many believers.
"On this mild and beautiful day, we celebrate the resurrection of Christ. We are celebrating the greatest day in Christ's life and in our lives, because just as Christ rose from the dead, we too will rise on the last day when he comes to judge," said Metropolitan Boris.
He pointed out that the resurrection of Christ "is a symbol of human life and the life of every Christian, which is victory over death."
"That victory is the most important part of our lives. To win in ourselves and around us with kindness, love and Christlikeness. To be like Christ, to be according to his works. May this Easter be blessed to all our Montenegrins here in Montenegro and the diaspora and to all people of good will who celebrate it.
Let there be salvation and reconciliation in Montenegro itself among us, so that we can come before the face of God as heirs of those proud righteous people who taught us the way of life and traditions we should live. In Nikšić, in the chapel of St. George in the Episcopal Court of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, the liturgy was served by Vicar Bishop Ivan from Dukljan, with the presence of a large number of believers.
Archpriest Neđeljko Furtula served in the chapel of St. Vladimir of Dukljan in Podgorica. In Kotor, in the church of St. Peter of Cetinje, retired Metropolitan Mihailo served with the clergy of the Episcopacy of Kotor-Limitor.
