The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, scheduled a new session of the Defense and Security Council for Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
"Members of the Council will consider the same proposal of points scheduled for the session planned for August 20, which concern the situation in the Army of Montenegro in 2023, the use of units in international forces and peacekeeping missions, as well as the proposal of the Ministry of Defense on appointments, dismissals, appointments and promotions of officers and female Army officers, and other issues within the competence of the Council", the Office for Public Relations of President Milatović announced.
The session was previously scheduled for August 20, but was canceled because Prime Minister Milojko Spajić could not attend.
