Milatović: The name-calling of Vučić was inappropriate, Spajić should have answered him

AUTHOR: M.J.
Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović said that the words that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić addressed to Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorčević were inappropriate, but that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić had to answer him.
In Budva, Milatović answered a journalist's question ahead of the security conference, saying that he would have responded to the name-calling if he had been in Spajić's place, reports RTCG.
I saw her statement, but in such situations, according to protocol, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of a country reacts, which is why it was absent, I am not the address. Was the reaction supposed to happen, yes. Should the Prime Minister have reacted, yes, if I were in his place I would have done so. In the state apparatus, many did not do what they should have done. I have already said that we must be more positive and affirm the participation of women in politics, I think that Gorčević is doing his job well, now we have fewer women in Parliament than before. I am surprised by her statement, but I would not like it to be a political necessity to get closer to the Prime Minister, said Milatović.
As he says, Vučić had to choose his words.
President Vučić had to choose different words in relation to the political position he conveyed towards Montenegro. We have to treat political actors in Montenegro and neighboring countries with additional respect and appreciation. That is clear. I stand in the protection of women. I also protected Draginja Vuksanović Stanković, but what Gorčević said in the Parliament is a political platitude that I would not comment on, Milatović stated, as reported by the Public Service portal.
Mandić to explain to citizens the presence of military exercises in Serbia
When asked how he comments on the visit of the President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić to military exercises in Serbia, Milatović says that he saw it in the media and that he does not have details about it, but that he should answer the citizens' legitimate question.
To the legitimate question in which context they attended the exercise. That is a question for them. Mr. Mandić is the president of the Assembly and therefore a member of the Defense and Security Council, we are a member of NATO and we want the best relations with all countries in the surrounding area, including Serbia, so Mandić should answer that question to the citizens, which I am sure that will do, said Milatović, RTCG reported.
