Milatović to meet with opposition leaders tomorrow about the situation in the Constitutional Court

Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović will meet tomorrow with the leaders of parliamentary opposition parties, regarding the situation with the Constitutional Court, Antena M was confirmed.

As we learned, the leaders of DPS, URA, SD, and HGI have been invited to the meeting, and it is scheduled for 10 a.m.

Let us recall that the opposition previously announced that a constitutional coup took place in the Parliament on Tuesday, when the termination of the function of Constitutional Court judge Dragana Đuranović was determined.

Harsh reactions also came from the President of the State, Jakov Milatović, who said that the Constitutional Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro had illegally taken over the jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court, while Prime Minister Spajić called on the Constitutional Court to issue an opinion on the termination of the judge's mandate and stressed that an institutional response is needed to resolve all dilemmas.
