Mićković brought to SDT, Simanić, Mandić, Lješković and Đurović arrested for tobacco smuggling

Marko Mićković from the shipping company "Knjaz" was arrested this morning in an operation by the Special Police Department, which was carried out on the order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, to whose premises he was subsequently brought.
This action concerns several companies and individuals believed to be involved in cigarette smuggling.
According to unofficial information published by the Standard portal, the police detained five people as part of the operation, and the M portal writes that in addition to Mićković, Mileta Simanić, Ratka Mandić, Đoko Lješković and Rajko Đurović were also arrested.
The portal Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) writes that the Prosecutor's Office is particularly interested in the cigarettes seized by the Montenegrin customs in Port Bar in September last year. They were sent by a company from Libya, and they were supposed to end up in Serbia.
The cigarettes arrived in Bar by ship from the United Arab Emirates, after which they tried to transport them further to Serbia.
However, they did not succeed because Serbia banned the import of those cigarettes.
After that, there was an attempt to present as if those cigarettes were going to be loaded onto the ship again for transport to a third destination, but that didn't happen either.
Customs suspects that it was a plan to deceive the competent state authorities, with the aim of these cigarettes being taken out of the Port of Bar and transferred to the Montenegrin black market.
According to the customs documentation, officially, the sender is the company "D Bros" of Libya.
The recipient is "Kozd Company" Serbia, from Ruma. The authorized representative of this company is the forwarding company "Montenegro Shipping Company" Bar.
SDT has not yet made an official announcement.
