Montenegro voted "yes" in the UN General Assembly when voting for a non-binding resolution demanding that Israel end its "illegal presence" in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank within a year.

124 out of 193 UN members voted for the resolution, 14 were against, and 43 abstained.

Great Britain, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania, Canada, India, Australia and other countries also abstained. .

The USA, Israel, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Argentina and several other countries voted against it.

The resolution demands the withdrawal of all Israeli forces and the evacuation of Jewish settlers from the occupied Palestinian territories "without delay".

Israel's ambassador to the UN, Dani Danon, described the resolution as "an attempt to destroy Israel through diplomatic terrorism", which never mentions the crimes of the Palestinian Hamas and which "ignores the truth, distorts the facts and replaces reality with fiction".
