Milica Lalatović Žižić from the Europe Now Movement (PES) will be the president of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly, Pobjeda has learned.

As they have learned, the leader of the PES list in the Nikšić elections, Zoran Mrkić, has given up the position of president of the local parliament.

Lalatović Žižić, according to the media, should be elected president in the continuation of the constituent session of the Nikšić parliament next Monday.

The deputy president of the municipality will be from the ranks of the Democrats, while Marko Kovačević from the coalition "For the Future of Montenegro" will remain the head of the Nikšić Municipality.

Today's constituent session of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly, after the mandates of the new councilors were confirmed, was interrupted because the future constituents of the government did not have a proposal for the president of the municipal assembly, and will be continued on June 2.

After the local elections held on April 13, the government in Nikšić will form For the Future of Nikšić, PES and Democrats - Plenum 083, which together have 23 councilors in the Nikšić Assembly of 41.
