Even tonight, at exactly 5:26 pm, traffic was blocked in Cetinje, at Kruševo Ždrijelo.
The blockade lasted until 6 pm.
Citizens carry banners in support of the demands of the student group "Kamo Śutra" and call for a blockade tomorrow in front of the Government building.
Everyone tomorrow in front of the Government building from 11 am to 5:26 pm - they called from today's rally in Cetinje.
In this way, citizens want to support the informal group of students "Kamo Śutra" who are protesting against unfulfilled demands after this year's tragedy in Cetinje.
The banners carried by citizens during tonight's protest invite everyone who is able to come to Podgorica tomorrow for a protest, a several-hour blockade in front of the Government building, organized by an informal group of students.
The students had previously called on citizens from all cities in Montenegro to join a joint blockade from 11 a.m. to 5:26 p.m. They said they had scheduled the protest for 11 a.m. in order to disrupt the work of the Government, which is being held at that time, with noise.
In response to the tragedy in Cetinje on January 1, 2025, the students are demanding the dismissal of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Danilo Šaranović, and the Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense, Aleksa Bečić.
They are also calling for an urgent response from the competent institutions to proactively act regarding the possession of weapons, the reform of the police structure system, the return of civic education as a mandatory subject in schools, and the improvement of the institutional approach to mental health care.
The main message of those gathered in Kotor who blocked traffic is "Tomorrow, everyone in front of the Government".
Let us remind you that tomorrow, a large protest will be held in Podgorica, organized by "Kamo sjutra", starting at 11 am in front of the Government.
It will last until 5:26 pm.
