The head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Andrija Nikolić, informed the public at today's press conference that DPS is returning to the parliamentary seats.
"The opposition's demands have been met, and the agreement reached between the government and the opposition was achieved under the auspices of the European Commission. It was also agreed that no issues polarizing the Montenegrin public will be raised without consensus. It was also specified that the Committee for Comprehensive Reform must submit results by the end of the year," Nikolić said.
Nikolić emphasized that anyone who undermines this agreement threatens Montenegro’s EU membership and should be held accountable.
"Prime Minister Milojko Spajić has signed the agreement, but whether he can guarantee that the rest of the parliamentary majority will respect it, I am not sure," Nikolić added, stating that he would not comment on the stance of URA, which is not a signatory of the agreement.
