Nikolić replied to Dragaš: PES is on the way to becoming a mutated combination of Democrats and DF

It could be said that the Europe Now Movement (PES) is well on its way to becoming a kind of mutated combination of the Democratic Front (DF) and the Democrats, said the spokesman of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Miloš Nikolić.

- The answer of Tihomir Dragaš justified the expectations. Shallow, cheap and hackneyed - just as the PES announcement was in relation to the topic of the Resolution in Srebrenica - said Nikolić.

Nikolić emphasized that the repetition of cheap accusations, attempts at criminalization and the need to have no position on any important issue, "garnished with attempts at personal discrediting and mundane manipulation, has already been seen so many times on the political scene."

Instead of a clear pro-European policy based on the values of modern Montenegro, which rests on the civic concept and the recognition of the genocide in Srebrenica as a demarcation line between Greater Serbian nationalists and progressive forces in the region, PES chose to be on the side of relativizers. In doing so, they agreed to be the doormat of official Belgrade, which Marko Đurić - the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia - reminds them of on a daily basis through the constant public slapping and humiliation he exposes them to in his statements.
