Nimanbegu: This Government Currently Has No Legitimacy

AUTHOR:M.J. GDNUS

President of the Municipality of Ulcinj and leader of Force Genci Nimanbegu points out that, as far as his political entity and he are concerned, this Government currently has no legitimacy.

He made this statement after Prime Minister Milojko Spajić signed two agreements with the United Arab Emirates, which were also supported in parliament this week, and which some in the public suspect represent an introduction to the mega-project on Velika Plaza.

"This is an imposition of will for various reasons, and I cannot go into what inspires political entities for something like this," he said while appearing on Prva.

He also pointed out that this is destroying the integrity of the Government.

"The law was defended by the new minister Majda Adžović. So, the Prime Minister does not come to the Parliament to defend the laws on agreements, and that shows how much he cares. We are getting to the point where half of the MPs are against these laws, and those who voted – supported something that they were aware that should not be supported," Nimanbegu points out.

He hopes that the President of the State Jakov Milatović will return the laws on the ratification of the agreements to the MPs for a new decision.

"It would be a second opportunity for the MPs to express their opinion, and we expect to receive the opinion of the European Commission and the European Parliament by then. Our contacts with the international community show that they are surprised," Nimanbegu concluded.
