On Ada Bojana, alarmingly, in Novi, the pumps do not help. Landslide on the road to Rogame. New instability and precipitation for the weekend

Due to heavy rainfall, the situation on Ada Bojana is alarming and the facilities of the nudist resort HTP Ulcinjska Riviera are under water. In Herceg Novi, pumps do not help.
The artificial embankments to protect the buildings of the Ulcinj Riviera from waves have not yet been completed, although the Government adopted information on the current situation and the implementation of short-term measures for Ada at the beginning of November.
There are also floods in the municipality of Herceg Novi, the stream in Zelenica, which flows through part of the former PKB, overflowed.
The Protection Service told RTCG that they are doing everything in their power and that they helped the owners of business premises to protect the buildings with sandbags.
As they explained, the inflow of water is so great that the pumps do not help.
On the road to Rogame under the highway, a landslide occurred this morning. Drivers were directed to the other side of the road to avoid potential danger.
After heavy rain expected today and tomorrow, meteorologist Branko Micev announces better weather conditions on Thursday and Friday. Weaker snowfall is expected in the winter tourist centers tomorrow, which will continue during the weekend, when a new cold wave arrives and brings unstable weather again.
On Thursday and Friday we will have a better weather situation. Mostly no precipitation. There will be more sun in the central and southern regions. And by the weekend we will have a new wave, an influx of cold air mass from the north of Europe, again unstable weather with rain and snowfall in the winter tourist centers", Micev said, adding that weaker snowfall is expected tomorrow, which will continue during the weekend.
On Monday, he expects more stable weather without precipitation, and from Tuesday again unstable conditions with frequent occurrence of rain.
Since November 15, the most rain fell in the Cetinje region, 281 liters per square meter, in Šavnik, 240 liters, in Kolašin, 239 liters, and in Podgorica and Bar, 213 liters per square meter.
"We also had a sudden jump in the water level. On Sunday, Tajko Morača had an increase of 9.78 meters compared to November 15. Now, compared to Sunday, Morača is down 284 centimeters," Micev said.
He pointed out that there will be a new increase due to the heavy rain that is expected today and tomorrow.
"As a consequence of the large amounts of precipitation, we have a jump in the water level of Lake Skadar. The level of the lake has increased by 182 centimeters compared to the situation on November 15. The volume of water in Lake Skadar increased by 728 million cubic meters. So, a huge amount of water poured in," Micev said.
