Otašević handed a warning to the editor of Dnevnik Gradska Televizija: Disputed article about Mandić

Acting Director of City Television Vladimir Otašević handed a warning to journalist and editor Bojana Dabović for, as he stated, the "disputable" Dnevik.
Otašević, as reported by Portal Analitika, said that due to the controversial "Dnevnik" from last Sunday, in which a lawyer's statement regarding the fact that the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić keeps the tricolor in his cabinet, journalist Bojana Dabović was warned.
Otašević explained that the contributions in "Dnevnik" were prepared in advance and that it was not a program broadcast live.
It is about Dnevnik in which there was no statement from the other side, that is, about two one-sided reports that were broadcast contrary to the Code of Journalists of Montenegro. Also, the attachments were prepared in advance contrary to the provisions of the Law on Media. The journalist/editor of Dnevnik then made an announcement on the social network Iks (X), in such a way that it could be interpreted as a statement that contradicts the views of the media where she works. For this reason, colleague Dabović was given a Warning before the initiation of disciplinary proceedings for serious violations of work obligations - said Otašević at the Council session.
