A protest by the coalition of organizations Velika plaza or big lie was held in front of the Parliament of Montenegro, as a sign of resistance to the agreement between the Montenegrin Government and the United Arab Emirates, which implies the seizure of Montenegrin soil in violation of the law, without public procedures and tenders.
Jovana Božović addressed the crowd, saying that "I should become we and mine ours".
As she adds, she will preserve every location regardless of the vote in the Parliament today.
"We are showing how we perceive the attitude of decision-makers towards our country. We are telling MPs to vote according to their conscience and not according to orders. They expect them to believe in something where nothing is written. We are addressing them with our expectations. You need to hear the voice of experts and citizens. We are losing what the Wild Beauty slogan promotes. Montenegro does not need a lot of construction. We need a return to the Wild Beauty electoral idea. It is time to return to the essence and not to tourism as an excuse for exploitation. Space belongs to everyone, the future is common," she stated.
Andrijana Mićanović said that they gathered to send a message that Montenegro is not for sale and that all resources belong to the citizens of Montenegro and not to foreign investors.
"This level of non-transparency has never and will not pass in Montenegro. Those who vote and decide today should know that they are not deciding only on the agreement, but whether Montenegro respects its children and resources," she emphasized.
Let us remind you that MPs are supposed to vote again on the agreement with the UAE at the session today.
