Rakočević: Mandić and Knežević sabotew Membership of Montenegro in NATO

Author- M.J.

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić, the deputies of his new Serbian Democracy and the Knežević's Democratic People's Party, as well as two MPs of the Socialist People's Party, did not vote for the sending of the Army of Montenegro to NATO navy surgery "Sea Guardian". With this act, they showed their attitude towards Montenegrin membership in the NATO and obligations that arise - the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Socialists and the Prophet in the Parliament of Montenegro Nikola Rakočević.

- Once again, the obligation from the Parliamentary majority agreement is about the formation of respect for the assumed international obligations of Montenegro from the partnership with NATO, so that the document can be considered dead letter on paper - adds Rakočević.

The Montenegrin opposition and part of the parliamentary majority voted, as he stated, positively, so that the decision that the obligation from the NATO Partnership of Montenegro has received the necessary majority.

- We draw attention to the domestic public and international partners, that anti-European and anti-NATO attendance is in the center of the parliamentary majority whose pillars support the Prorus Democratic Front. Anti NATO attitude has confirmed, whichever the way, and Andrija Mandić himself, when he recently recognized that he committed Montenegro's undering Montenegro from NATO.

Montenegro's membership in NATO was, reminded, one of the great strategic policy priorities of the DPS.

- We have passed a variety of state destabilization phases from the same ones who now form a parliamentary majority, in order to become part of the most powerful military alliance. That is why we draw attention to the attempted Project elements in the authorities for NATO membership to sabotage Montenegro as a non-credible state that does not fulfill its obligations and consequently does not deserve to be part of that organization - concluded Rakočević.
