The decision of the Constitutional Court showed that the parliamentary elections will be held quickly and that President Milo Đukanović worked in accordance with the Constitution, said the representative of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nikola Rakočević.
He told TV E that DPS will not give legitimacy to the work of the dissolved parliament.
I think it is in the national and social interest that we do not give legitimacy to that composition of the Assembly that undermines the constitutional order - said Rakočević.
He pointed out that this is, first of all, a difficult moment for the country, but that he believes that the idea of a civil, multi-ethnic state will win.
We believe that the next parliamentary elections, along with the new composition of the DPS, can contribute well to Montenegro - said Rakočević, adding that the party is not currently thinking about coalition capacity, but about the system of values on which modern Montenegro should rest.
