The request that will be sent from Montenegro to the Venice Commission was agreed today.
The text was agreed upon during the past three days by the Minister of Justice Bojan Božović on behalf of the government, and lawyer Miloš Vukčević on behalf of the opposition.
The E television reported that the text was fully agreed upon.
Therefore, it is expected that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić will sign the request tomorrow, and that it will then be forwarded to the aforementioned commission.
Let us recall that the VK request is one of the points included in the agreement signed last Saturday by representatives of Europe Now, the Democratic Party of Socialists, the Social Democrats and the Croatian Civic Initiative.
The Venice Commission will thus interpret whether, when determining the termination of the function of Constitutional Court judge Dragana Đuranović, the procedure prescribed by the Constitution was violated.
