RTCG Employee Group: Public Service “Gets Rid of” Adamović Because He Didn’t Accept “Indecent Offer”, We Will Not Remain Silent

A group of RTCG employees reacted to the dismissal of their colleague Siniša Adamović.

We are reporting their reaction in full.

Our colleague Siniša Adamović was fired from RTCG.

Siniša Adamović is a top-notch journalist and a good man, who has dedicated almost three decades of work to Montenegrin Television. Siniša responded to all assignments at the highest professional level, from the correspondent in Bijelo Polje, through the editor of the Morning Program, the editor of the Dnevnik, the editor of the Entertainment Program, to the Documentary, where he left behind some capital works. This is just a small part of what he did.

The Public Service “got rid of” such a man because he didn’t accept an “indecent offer”. And we, after everything that happened to our colleague, believe that it is indecent to remain silent.

Siniša Adamović rejected the humiliating offer, knowing that he was choosing between personal dignity and a secure salary. History teaches that it is only a matter of timing when an indecent offer will reach those who decided to remain silent even after the dismissal that was handed to Siniša.

A downcast gaze can only postpone that moment. But is it human and Montenegrin to wait for it in fear?
