The Democratic Party of Socialists submitted the list "In word and deed! - Dr. Nermin Abdić" for the upcoming local elections in Podgorica. For the first time in one list, the representation of women is 50 percent. Practically every second person on the council list is a woman. This contributes to the equalization of the sexes in political structures, but also represents a guarantee that the decisions that the government led by our party will form in Podgorica will take into account all spheres of social interest, especially issues related to children, education, health, social protection and family issues, it was announced. from DPS.
They add that most of the candidates on the list are highly educated, but there are also students, workers, pensioners, artisans, farmers...
- We tried to ensure that the structure of the list covers as wide a range of occupations as possible, as well as that each generation of adult citizens has its own representative.
In addition to experienced and proven councilors, the list includes a significant number of young people who, we are convinced, led by Dr. Abdić, a famous doctor from Pogorica and a lover of Podgorica, will win the next elections - the announcement states.
