We condemn the vandal act of desecrating the Montenegrin national flag in Štitarica and call on the state authorities to find and prosecute the perpetrators. In this case, it is not a difficult professional obligation, announced the Party of European Progress.
Extremists, encouraged by aggressive rhetoric and examples of disrespect for state symbols in the Montenegrin parliament, want to provoke and cause escalation and conflicts. We call for common sense and patience to the residents of Štitarica.
Respect for the state and its symbols is a civil, constitutional and political obligation and the Party of European Progress will not shrink from defending the dignity of the state and its symbols, concludes the SEP.
