A commemorative session on the occasion of the tragedy that struck Cetinje was held in the Government House.

The commemorative session was attended, among others, by the President of the State Jakov Milatović, the Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Marković, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović, the Minister of Health Vojislav Šimun, the Ministers Anđela Jakšić Stojanović and Maida Nišić, the Deputy Speakers of the Parliament Nikola Camaj and Mirsad Nurković, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro Zoran Lazarević...

Among those present was also the former President of the State Milo Đukanović.

The Mayor of the Royal Capital of Cetinje Nikola Đurašković said that with the sadness that united everyone, "we gathered in front of one of the most difficult challenges that has hit us as a community".

"Another tragedy of unprecedented proportions has hit Cetinje and Montenegro. The loss of 12 lives has left us in shock and disbelief. The loss of two angels who were symbols of innocence is especially painful. They have left a void in our hearts. The only thing we can do is send our sincerest condolences to the families and help them in their pain," said Đurašković, RTCG reports.

He said that this is not just a loss for the families, but for the entire society.

"We should all ask ourselves - why did something like this happen again and why did we as a society allow this... The state must react systematically. We owe this to the victims and their families. We must and want to clearly demand responsibility," said Đurašković.

Vice President of the Assembly of the Royal Capital Mirko Stanić said that Cetinje is grateful to everyone who is with their fellow citizens in these difficult days.

"Our thoughts and wishes are directed towards the recovery of our injured fellow citizens. May this tragedy never be overcome," he said.
